The Jordan Report conducted the following interview with Ola via Email.
If elected, what are your priorities - are you focusing on local, national, or international issues? if all of them, can you indicate one of each as a priority?
If elected I will focusing on my district in NY and the issues we have especially after Covid-19. Also, national and international issues as we are working on being independent from China so now is the time to bring manufacturing companies back in America and get the economy stimulated.
What makes you run in the primary?
I decided to run for Congress as I was not happy with the direction America is going in. I live in the greatest country in the world and we have to protect the constitution and our freedom. I decided to run in the primary because of all the support I had in the district from farmers to small business owners who were ready for change and I don't quite. I try harder for our Country is on the line and as an outsider I am confident working together we can make some positive changes. I am endorsed by NY State Conservative party, NRA endorsed, NY police troopers and the next is President Trump endorsement.
If won, in November, how proud will you be as the first Jordanian American in the Congress?
Very proud for I know that my family would be proud, and I pray to always make them proud.
How you can improve the US assistance to Jordan and how to sustain the cooperation between both countries. Etc.
Ola- When I --God willing -- get to be a member of US Congress, Aid to Jordan is important as America has been generous with Jordan where in the past few years, Washington has given Jordan over $1 billion but it's important in boosting Jordanian security, followed by funds to service its public debt and help with its economy. Jordan's security assistance is a priority and needs to be funded properly as Jordan had always been a reliable ally. Keeping peaceful relationships with Jordan and Israel as Jordan has worked closely with Israel and America and keeping that relationship strong
